Look at FM's car "trackdog" on their website. It's a very functional hood, but it's best on a Sunday car that won't see rain.

I'd be interested in it if it were closer to me, and oh if I had some money.

believe it or not cars are designed to get wet now and then. just about everything in the engine bay can handle water as long as it's not a high pressure spray. I drove mine for weeks with no hood after the engine swap and never had a problem with water.

I better remove my water injection right away then or else my engine will rust!!!! Everybody that bought that kit better listen up!!!

On a more serious note, the air inlet on the filter is pointing down so no water will get into it no matter what quantity of water you hose directly over the afm. You would have to just short of completely submerge your filter in water in order to hydrolock your motor. Also, do you drive your car in the rain ever? Do you realize how much water you are injecting directly into your engine when the humidity outside is 100%? High humidity is like water injection alone. Also your fuse boxes are made to be protected from exposure to water, unless like stated above it is a direct high pressure blast. Do you think that no water gets all over everything in the engine bay just because you have a closed hood? You would be sadly mistaken if you did.

The extractor hood is made to create a pressure difference between the outside and the inside of the car. Sucking more cold air into the front of the car and "extracting" hot air out of its vents.

It would be nice to have some pics though.

That's about the most ignorant and unexperienced post I've ever seen.
