#21
I know of braineack and I've heard good word about you. I personally have not seen your work so idk. See I don't trust cheap guns either. Hell I've had a $40 dollar gun that was supposed to be good and even that one was tempermental... If you do solder well then I'm really interested in the pnp. I have a 99 with a ffs that deffinately needs a tune. I hate those power cards...

Hello.. I'm very very interested in the ms2 pnp that your selling.. if you haven't already sold it. I have a couple questions.
1. Is it 100% plug and play? Or would I have to buy connections or sensors of any kind?
2. My car is a 99 so I would have to swap the alternator you are providing..? What year car is it from?
3. Why did you pull this one out and buy another mspnp?
Thank you

#2 It will work in a 99. Mine is a 00. You will have to use an alt that has a built in voltage regulator cause this ECU was designed without the voltage control. The alt from 97 is what I used.
#1 The ECU is designed to plug into the factory wiring harness. There are a few sensors that will have to change. For example, the stock ECU uses Mass Air Flow (MAF). The Megasquirt ECU uses Mass Air Pressure (MAP). Please use the search, both here and google to find more to find out more info to do the swap.
Here are pics of the soldering.

Hey jeff since I read the forums and don't post a lot I can't pm you back. Well right now I have a 99 with a fast forward supercharger but I'm going to be going back to stock soon because I'm going to go turbo. I know some about megasquirts and have seem their programming. I haven't tuned one just yet but I have tuned using aem, hondata, and greddy. I am pretty good with soldering and very good at reading wiring schematics. That's why I was considering just buying a kit but for the price you're asking... Idk if I can pass up your deal. I am very interested just so you know. I'll try and call tomorrow or monday
Thanks so much!
