Default FS: Squaretop intake manifold(s) (SoCal)

Found a wrecking yard across the pond with a few squaretops (01-05 rest-of-world intake manifold) avail. If you've been looking for one, you know a) they're impossible to find, and b) shipping is atrociously, distgustingly expensive from overseas. So it helps to ship multiple pcs simultaneously.

Let me know if want one; there are two more avail. Once I have two committed buyers, I'll have them all shipped at once.

$270 picked up in Los Angeles. This isn't a moneymaker for me; I'm just trying to save on int'l shipping. So I don't get completely boned if someone flakes, i'll ask for a deposit, say $100. FYI, new from miataroadster the squaretop is $500

J, I would like to claim one if you're willing to ship. Would like the fancy EUDM or JDM 4-2-1 header as well if you could possibly inquire about that as well.

I'll second this one as I'd like one as well. Just make sure they get the upper AND lower sections, with heatshields would be even better I'd be fine with a deposit as well.

It will not. Port spacing is different. 99+ 1.8 only.

I would be interested in the EUDM or JDM 4-2-1 header as well. I have a square top intake.

Okay, I've got two takers for these squaretops.

As for the 4-2-1 manifolds requested by a few of you, I'm checking into it and will start a new thread if it looks possible.

Good news and bad news. Long story, but the bad is that he's upping the squaretop manifold piece price by 25 gbp ($42).

I'm sorta pissed off about the price change. Actually I'm really pissed about it. Not because it's a lot of money, it's not, but because it was brought up just today as an "oh by the way" thing.

Anyway, for the two buyers who already sent deposits, I'll still get these manifolds if you still want them at the $40 higher price ($310 total piece price). I'm really sorry about this, and if you want out I'll refund your deposit. Just let me know.

The good is that he located an additional squaretop manifold. So if there is a any taker for that one, PM me. Again it's $310.

Default 4-2-1 stuff

As for 4-2-1 exhaust manifolds, I need some help from you guys.

Below is the '01-'05 manifold he has, and the downpipe that bolts to it. It's a crappy pic but it appears that a cat is welded to the downpipe rather than bolted.

These pieces appear to differ slightly from the 4-2-1 NB pics in this m.net post. In particular the downpipe, which is a separate piece from the cat. Is this a 99-00 vs 01-05 thing?

Just want to make sure that what's pictured here is what you guys are after.

That looks pretty close... Emilio was showing off this one from a BP3Z JDM manifold on YouTube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=121xWK2Nr0s#t=4m42s
I'd not seen one with a cat attached, the one you pictured is a pretty damn close match Emilios, not really for the m.net pics. Any chance there are heatshields with it? It's got an EGR nipple so that'll keep the CA smog ***** at bay. I'm guessing your source is UK/EU and not JD?

What kind of pricing are you looking at for these guys?

Manifold looks correct. I'd be curious on the price--might want it if the price is right. The cat is a bit different, but I can cut it off. But TBH the dirty pool makes me nervous.

This exactly. Looks like there is enough meat there so that its not much trouble to mate it to a RB or factory midpipe. If your over-seas source wants to keep the cat, they are welcome to slice it off pre-cat, as long as I get the 2-1 merge section with the o2 bung and shields, I'm happy.

There's an entire 4-2-1 exhaust with heat shields for 20 quid ($33) on eBay UK.
