Default NIB flat top intake

This is a NEW In a Box flat top intake manifold. I bought it for a buddy who told me to find him one, agreed to the price, then after I got it told me he didn't have the money right now.....
So, here we go. $500 shipped

No, I will not take $400 shipped! Will you pay $799 like most vendors charge for new ones?

It was the PM I received from tottestad.
I thought about selling my used one and keeping this one for myself, but I won't even sell my used one for $400 shipped! I know a couple have popped up on this site recently that were really great deals, but I really don't feel like my price is off the mark at all. I took it out of the original plastic to take pictures!

I wish I could justify it as it's a beautiful piece, but I'm too broke :(

GLWS!

Still kinda new to miatas... Whats beneficial about this intake? Are they nice on turbo setups? Do they fit the non vvt 1.8 head? I know youre selling it and its kind of off topic, but any good links or info on this would be awesome.

Was just about to pm you and ask if you still had it for 475 and take you up the offer for the used one you offered to sell me for 450 also. 2 square tops for 925 shipped isn't a bad deal. It never hurts to ask...

I only want to sell one.

Baller, they flow a lot better and will give all NB 1.8 engines a significant improvement in power. I believe for NA applications you will lose a little torque down low. For FI applications I believe some people have seen as much as 30whp on moderate power levels.

I bought this because a friend asked me to locate him one. I settled on a price with the seller and agreed to buy it. When my friend backed out I felt bad for the seller and bought it anyway since I gave my word I would. So now I have two Flat top manifolds and only one Miata that has a BP engine that I care to make power with. So I will sell the new one and use the money to help fund the next project (LS1 powered 10AE).

Tottestad I will take $475 shipped with no paypal fees. Either you cover them, or trust I am honest and pay as friends/family so there are no fees. THIS IS A GREAT DEAL!!! I will not go any lower because I could not find ANY below $500 when I was looking for mine.

Jesus a new flattop for 475 is a stupidly low price. In the fall these things were flying off the forum for 425 used. Get it together people!

I just bought a turbo... if this is still around in a week when I get paid I will buy this for sure.

What do you think the 64mm skunk2 tb + this intake with the opening port matched the the tb would do tothe power of a stock 1.8 pushing 10-12#s?

Baller,
I am not sure, but as soon as someone buys this I can put mine on the dyno and let you know....lol. Truth is I can afford to sit on this and will dyno mine as soon as I can. First I need to get my flat top and Skunks TB installed. I can't believe it hasn't sold yet! I figure Toby will come off the hip soon enough and send me the money since we know he wants it......

Nice! Whats the setup youre going to be installing the square top and skunk 2 on? Before and after dynos would be some awesome info for people looking for a lil extra power without cracking into the engine

oh my goodness, nothing more annoying than some stupid clueless n00b wanting someone to spoon feed him info when he's not even ready to buy and doesn't even know what he's looking at.

tread lightly, you're headed for a ban

Im sorry... I see where youre coming from. I AM new, and learning. I shouldve done my research first instead of coming into this mans for sale thread asking stupid questions. Definitely not the place for that..... but I dont think I deserve to be talked to like that and called names.

I did do my research (after the fact) and from what ive read its a really nice piece and this is a great price, especially with it being brand new. Goodluck with the sale, if this is still for sale in a week or so maybe ill pick it up.

The details of my build thread are in my signature line. Please understand if I don't spell it all out again here. My build is rather nice, if I do say so myself. I have had a lot of interest on this manifold, I don't understand why I still have it..... a month ago you couldn't find one used for under $500 that was nasty dirty.
