FS: 1994 full drivetrain parts car: $700 OBO in S.Maine
EDIT: ENGINE SOLD. Moderators, please close this thread.
I've got a white 1994 miata base model parts car. The car was never wrecked, but abandoned at a garage when it didn't pass inspection for blown suspension and a hole in the exhaust. It sat for a 2 years before the garage decided to sell it. I bought it with no title, so I can give you a bill of sale but nothing else. Technically, you could restore the car to daily driver status, but it's really more of a parts car. I took the top, entire interior, finish panel, bumpers, hood, fenders, doors, and headlights off the car.
What's left is the following:
1) White chassis, no major dents or dings, frame straight, rocker panel rust
2) fully functioning drivetrain with 122K miles on it. 5MT. Compression is good on all cylinders, and the 5MT shifts smoothly.
3) rest of engine bay more or less complete with all engine and body wiring
4) both subframes, manual steering rack, open diff rear end, axles, hubs, brake calipers and rotors
This car runs and drives, and the drivetrain is in good shape. I'll try to get pictures tomorrow, but this car is ready to go. Put a seat and a battery in it, and you can drive it onto your trailer.
Asking $600 OBO. ALL OFFERS CONSIDERED. Was going to further dismantle the car and part it out, but I've got another project and just don't want to take the time. My loss.
Car is located in Windham, ME about 10 miles west of Portland. Call Adam at 814-598-1570 or email at adam@projectrally.com. I don't check my PMs that often, so best to use one of the above methods of contact.
Pictures coming soon.

I just moved from Philly back to Maine where I used to live. Just forgot to update my profile info. Spare timing belt now on the car. Starts up and runs just fine.
EDIT: as for the seat and battery needed to drive it onto the trailer, I can pull those out of my 91 long enough to get the car loaded up.

At this point, I just have too many projects, so I'd prefer not to part it out any further. I'd rather just sell it as it sits. I took some video of the engine running and some pics tha I'll post when I get home tonight...iPhone posting...

The car is in Maine? If you can get it down here to PA and I can hear it run, I'll give you cash for it. Obviously more cash that asked due to the moving cost. If interested, PM me and let me know what's what.

give me a call and we can talk about it. 814-598-1570. Name's Adam. Free all day tomorrow and I'm around tonight too. Hiking Katahdin this weekend, so I won't be around.
I was planning to leave the engine in the car just because it's easier and then sell it all in one chunk, but if you'd like to make me an offer on the engine, and we can work out a time that you want to come get it, I'll remove it for you. I just don't feel like putting any unnecessary effort into this car, so I'm not going to pull the engine until I have a firm and definite deal.

The guy in Auburn is selling his for $600 with exhaust manifold and transmission. When I talked to him, he didn't want to separate anything. If he's willing to do so now, I suggest you take his offer. I just sold this engine for $300. I'll have more parts available after the weekend...
