Default hawk black pads lot

hawk black pads. If this will fit a 1.8 we could get some people together to buy the lot. I'd like a set.

I thought the blacks were a lt duty track pad. Then you stepped up to the blue. I will admit that I was hoping someone more knowledgable than me would look into this.

Goodwin says medium duty track pad, but description sounds like what I'd consider light.

Says they're not for the everyday street Miata, so I wonder if they'd work for a turbo Miata driver that heats them up pretty well every morning...

The normal use for these pads on the track is Blues in front and Black for the rears which helps a bit with the Miata brake bias. I had interest in those pads but my car is a 1.6

The brake pads listed are for 2006-2008 Miatas fyi. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HWK-HB522U-565

That would be great. Can you post your prices when you find out?

What would be a good front pad to go with the OEM pads I have on the rear.

You really don't want to put more aggressive pads in the front than the rear. Actually the opposite is true because there is already more front brake bias.

The type of driving you will be doing is also important. Street, track or a combination of those will all make the choices different.

sorry for the delay. my ADD makes me forget sometimes. LOL

Hawk Blues:
FRONTS: HB149E.505 - $109.00
REARS: HB159E.492 - $94.00

BLACK
FRONTS: HB149M.505 - $99.00
REARS: HB159M.492 - $85.00

shipping is 5 bucks per item, or 8 dollars for 2. meaning if you just want fronts 5 bucks or F+R is 8 dollars. Ca needs to pay tax. sowwie!

if you want it let me know. i can't post company info here.
should i post this in GB section or something?

This is a good NA pad that you could possibly use on the track with ducting. I would not use it on the street though.

However, these pads are the same price if not more expensive than what TDR sells them for new.
