Add me to the list if it isn't too late. I regret selling off my first set of Belfabs.

supertech valve goodies are fine. they MAY even offer the right parts for a shim-under-bucket conversion since (I think?) the 4AG toyota parts are similar. maybe we can have them ship neogenesis Brian some to test on my spare head while he's got it apart. I'd pay for one valve's worth just to experiment.

also you suck ***** for doing this so soon after I bought my rods from ETD!

Exclamation Important

I've got some bad news. I just spoke with the distributor at length (for 70 minutes) and the $276 rods won't be happening. They're going to be $295 per set. They have 15 sets available. After these are sold, they won't be available again until February or March. The price increase is out of my control, and I am sorry for it.

If you've already paid via paypal, and are not OK with the price increase, let me know so I can send you a refund. Just so there are no misconceptions, I will repeat myself: You will be gladly refunded immediately if you want out.

I want to apologize to you guys for this. Had I known earlier, I wouldn't have gotten your hopes up.

At $310/shipped these are still the cheapest rods around (295+15). Total w/ paypal is $319.30. The next steps are totally up to you guys. Let me know what you want.

Y8s, Supertech valves are 17.50/ea, intake or exhaust, standard or oversize. Entire setups with ti springs, keepers, etc are available, but I didn't get pricing info. Ferrera valves are $22/ea

If we go through, I'll post the invoice so you see I'm not making this up, and I'm not marking them up.

Bummer. If we want to stay in should we just paypal you the difference now?

Also, is there still a minimum order count where we have to wait till everyone sends in the money?

Shitty, but still a great deal.

Supertech valvetrain sounds nice too

Thanks, good questions.
They're going to be the same price up to the on hand limit of 15.
If you want to stay in, just paypal me the difference.

The distributor has them on "hold" for us until tomorrow afternoon.
I'm still getting a set for me. But you guys let me know what you want.

If everyone is happy after the rods deal, we can certainly explore head guts.
Also there's another VERY COOL project we were speaking about. I've also been looking at really nice billet waterpumps for $45. But let's walk with this before we try to run.

Ben

Ben, the eBay deal from Belfab works out to the exact same price. I'd rather stick with the deal you've worked out cause you're the man... even if it's the same deal.

Sending the extra $19.30 now.

Also, the Paypal I just send for the extra lists a California address... THAT'S WRONG. Please send to the first address in Virginia. Thanks.

<edit> you posted again while I was editing

Sam, we're not going to be bound to a purchase quantity. I'll refund your payment right now (I believe that there is a no fee refund process) if you want. Or you can just send me the difference. It's up to you man.

<edit> OK, you edited your post before I finished mine.
And no worries, I know you're in VA.

I'm going to bed; I've got an early morning. I'll check back tomorrow to see what the rest of you guys want.
