Default HUGE part-out feeler - NB Shock Mounts FS

God I don't want to do this, but after killing my wife's pride and joy:

https://www.miataturbo.net/forum/t38838/

I seriously need to sell off every damn decent part I've got to get her another chariot (and preferably something not made by Government Motors).

NOTE: This is kind of a feeler. I will only start selling some of these parts if it looks like I can sell all of my turbo gear...so please post up if you are interested.

Turbo kit had a previous owner that was a good friend of Corky's and worked in his shop one day of the week (older gentlemen). Corky vouched for it's condition and it still has ZERO shaft play. All engine management has <4000 miles on it.

I will include pics as I can get them, but need to put the word out ASAP.

Will entertain offers, will make package deals.

PARTS:

BEGi System 4.1 Complete Turbo Kit

$1100

Name: airbox3.jpg
Views: 71
Size: 80.9 KB

IHI RHB5 turbo, with their block and plate intercooler, with all piping, cast manifold, and two piece sleeve-joint downpipe. Intake elbow is tapped for IAT sensor, and has IAC bung. Uses a Bosch recirculating valve. I will include my K&N air filter (2.5" collar) as well. It also has the airbox shown that works with stock AFM...but I use tubing that goes right up to the inlet casting. Has oil feed and drain lines, coolant lines, will include drill and tap. Also has all the couplers and clamps (is on running car), and I have extra silicone of several sizes I'll include. Basically a big box with ALL the mechanicals you need to bolt on. With proper engine management this setup is capable of 220whp. Also has BEGi boost gauge.

MegaSquirt Stand-alone built by Braineack

$375

Name: MSglovebox.jpg
Views: 40
Size: 17.3 KB

Complete standalone with A/C circuit and harness.

RX7 "red top" 460cc high ohm injectors (4)

$80

These are plug and play mechanically....but the connectors are different, so I just clipped my wires and wired them in.

LC-1 WB02

$225

Come with a blue gauge, CD and cable just like from DIY.

Autopower Roll Bar

$250

Simple four point. Very well built, great view out back.

Custom Harness Bar

$50

Fabbed by bryanlow, exact width between seat belt towers. Goes great with above roll bar.

Corbeau Forza seat / expired Sabelt 6-point

$125

Previously used by an instructor at TWS. Enough wear it's certainly not worth shipping. It has a sweet adjustable rail with it, and Sparco mounts. The rail has sub-strap eyelets on it. I had another thread somewhere with pictures. Sorry for putting it in two places.

FCM NB-style shock mounts for Tokico Illumina with 36mm bumpstops

$220

I actually was gonna sell these anyhow since my shocks are Konis and I bought these off of urbansoot without it registering they wouldn't work without some drilling and modification I don't want to do to such nice parts.

Goodridge SS brake lines

$125

All four corners.

1.8L front brake caliper brackets and discs

$125

I've already installed the rear and their bigger discs, but haven't driven a foot, so if you need all four we can work out a deal. The fronts and a prop valve will work for most if your rears are in good shape.

(4) Toyota 1ZZ-FE COPS 90080-19015

$95

All are in great condition.

(2) Infiniti Projector setups

$75 ~

These are the complete headlight housings with turn signal, HID projector lows, and halogen high. Has all the electrical components, as well as a "halo" ring. You pretty much just wire up pos+ and ground for the projectors. The thick plastic is also complete for making custom covers over turn signal holes.

FM Pedal kit

$65

You have to see these in person to appreciate how nice they are.

Other parts that may sell:

Full black carpet
Custom Suspension....Koni Sports w 2.5in springs, homemade perches with exact ID of Koni body.

Name: IMG_0121.jpg
Views: 67
Size: 137.8 KB

stock wheel w/airbag

All prices are negotiable to a point since I'm pressed to sell quickly. Shipping not considered included for large items, but we can work it out easily on things that fit in a box.

Thanks for looking,

Damon

My next build will be bad-*** though.

So far I have interest in the MS, the harness bar, and some of the smaller items. If a newb comes along needing the turbo kit and someone springs for the roll-bar then I'll start a real FS thread.

They are eGay springs, but I verified the rates and their consistency. 450F/350R, and they are pretty nice on mine. Rear can be stiff...but I'm still running a rear sway.

If you really want the suspension I'll need to find a stock setup or something to swap in, so I'm glad you let me know.

This setup could use any 2.5" springs since I put that perch on there.

Well let me know what you're lookin to get for it all. I have an FCM perch actually if you wanted to hang on to it all. Can also consider shipping you my old stock suspension if we can work out a deal.

I hate to take stuff from you though :(

I really do!

I'm motivated to sell...but because I want to. She has no idea I'm doing this, and just yesterday was asking whether I wanted a local set of Konig Heliums or a Momo Race wheel for my birthday next week.

She's totally been on board with me finishing this build, and I'm going to let her know how much she means to me.

I'm getting a good deal of offers, and just cleaned up my PM inbox, so I'll stay in touch. It looks like things are going to work out to where I can get my car back to stock daily duty and still get her something dependable and fuel efficient.

MS is MS1, not MS2, correct?

Also, interested in Seat and Belt. PM or post pics please.

You know anyone going to Harris Hill next weekend for possible delivery?

Chris

EDIT: Also, interested in LC-1 sans gauge.

I told my girlfriend the other day that i'd part out my car to pay off some expenses since we just spent 1700 dollars [too much] on a new couch. She basically said "**** no, i dont want to autocross that slow piece of **** stock"

Still waiting on a quote on the Konis

BTW, you said Koni sport but in the pic they are red...?

Edit: To any potential buyers, this is a great "seller". I say "seller" because he GAVE me a working boost gauge a while back and I practically had to force him to give me his pay pal email so I could send him a few bucks for shipping.
