1.9l built engine, based on 1.8l 2000 head
1996 1.8l block, deburred, align honed, align decked, ARP main and head studs, torque plate cylinder honed. Knife edged and polished crankshaft. FM Wiseco +1mm pistons, skirts coated, 9:1 compression. Carillo I beam rods. Calico coated main and rod bearings. Assembly professionally balanced. 2000 Miata head, fully ported, +1mm SI valves, 94/95 valve springs, align milled to true surface, rebuilt. Web Cams billet camshafts and Fidanza aluminum cam sprockets. Felpro gaskets used throughout. 2000 Miata intake, ported, with Kinsler overbored 1.8l throttle body, Hondata intake gasket. Aluminum dual feed fuel rail, RC Eng 550cc injectors with adapter connectors for Miata harness. When the engine was built, I had a new blueprinted oil pump installed, new timing belt assembly, new water pump, new OEM Mazda harmonic balancer installed. Engine was professionally machined and assembled at Mesa Balancing in Miami, FL. Always used Amsoil 10w30 or 10w40 oil. Includes OEM 1996 Miata oil cooler. Saw mostly street use, a couple track days at Sebring. Never drag raced or revved beyond 7500rpm, even though it can handle far more. Engine has about 8000 miles on it. Original Miata alternator and drive belt installed on it now, and a pair of Mazda Competition engine mounts. Also includes the CAS and new CAS seal, Magnecore wires and OEM coils, magnetic oil drain plug. Engine has been set up for coolant reroute, which will be included with the engine along with the OEM coolant routing equipment, and OEM cam sprockets.
$3500. I have many receipts of the work and parts.
