Default BRP R4 intake for 1.8l, supercharged engine application

Just removed it from engine. It can only be used on a supercharged engine, unless you mod it for a throttle body. It does't have provisions for a TB at this time since the TB goes on the supercharger. I bought it new, and ran it on my 96/99 engine. Mild porting was done to it, to smooth out some transitions. Comes complete with bolts, gaskets, etc, even the EGR hookup parts that cost extra. This intake and an MP62 pushing 13psi made 250/200 at the tires with a mediocre dyno tune last September, day was 94º and about that much humidity. I want to clean up the intake before posting photos, so I'll have a couple up by the end of the week. Member levnubhin can vouch for the system on my car. If buyer goes for the MP62 kit I have for sale, I'm willing to do a package deal.

The intake fits 99/00 heads. I am running a 99 head on my 96 block.

$800 delivered to your door within the continental US.

Default Photos

Just took some photos. The main photo shows everything in the kit. There are extra fasteners in there as well. The EGR parts were never used. I had to open up the port connecting to the black tube so airflow would be unimpeded, and the other photos show just minor polishing and radiusing, nothing radical. Compared to a stock 99 intake with EGR, this intake was almost 6 pounds lighter, it was about 4 lbs lighter than my 99 intake after I removed the EGR stuff and removed casting flash.

The port on the black tube is tapped for 3/8s NPT. I used an air temp sensor in it. The bags include quite a few vacuum nipples and allen head plugs to set up the intake any which way you want. There are a number of threaded ports on the intake for vacuum signals.

I'll take $750US delivered within the continental US, $700 if you pick up. I live in Ft Lauderdale. The intake cost $1k not including the EGR parts.

Is the EGR stuff for a 99 or for the 96?

Probably fit either, it's tubing, adapters, and fasteners. The intake itself is built to fit a 99/00 head, though. From what I remember, the 96 EGR system will work with the 99 head setup. I fit the earlier EGR valve onto the 99 intake with a small spacer I made from Home Depot aluminum stock, so yea I'll bet it'll work on either.
