Sadly for me, up for sale is my custom fiberglass hood from my 1995 red miata show car. The hood originally made by auto conxecion out of CA is a 100% fiberglass hood that has been structurally re-inforced on the backside, and the henge bolts refiberglassed using top of the line stainless steel studs mounted to a plate that was fiberglassed into the hood. The hood was almost completely rebuilt to make it of sound structure so that it doesn't flex. The paint is mazda paint code A4A (true red, a 2007+ mazda color) and is only a few months old. There is a small demple in the fiberglass on the front of the hood around where the latch mechanism is. This can be repaired before repainting the hood to the color of your car. The hood comes complete with stainless steel wire mesh covering the fully opened louvers and front cowl induction vent.

Again, sadly the reason I am selling it is because it will no longer fit properly after a swap to a later model engine/intake manfold. I swapped in a 2004 mazdspeed engine into the show car, and the new VICS intake manfold sticks out further, and the cowl induction now hits on the throttle body. Thus, the hood will no longer latch properly without adjustment, which will throw the hood gap setting off on the sides. It will work perfectly on any other 1990-1997 mazda miata that does not have a 1999+ engine with the 1999+ VICS intake manifold.

I can ship the hood, I have the box that the new replacement factory hood came in, with all the corner bracings etc for a proper shipment via freight. Just contact me for details. FYI I have MUCH more into this hood then I'm selling for, I simply do not have the storage space to store it at the moment, and I'm only looking to recooperate the cost of the new factory style hood.
