disassembled 6 speed transmission
Hey guys, I bought a disassembled 6 speed from a guy on ebay and I've decided to go in another direction.
I wonder if anyone will be interested in it.
I paid $299.00 shipped to Miami. If someone is interested, I can still contact the seller and ask him to reroute it to you for the same price I paid.
This is what he stated about it on ebay:"This is a listing for the transmission from my 1999 6 speed manual Mazda Miata 10th Anniversary edition, which I sold a number of years ago. While I had it, I noticed that 3rd gear had a grind. I brought it to the local Mazda dealer, who confirmed that the snychronizer was bad by taking the transmission apart. They wanted an exorbitant amount of money to fix it and put it back together, so I told them to box it all up and return it to me, which is what you see pictured. The transmission had 80k miles when it was taken apart. This is the perfect setup and a great bargain for someone who knows how to rebuild these things and put them together again. The transmission will be shipped in 2 boxes: one with all of the gears, etc. you see in the picture (everything the dealer gave me, though I have no way of knowing if every nut and bolt is accounted for), and the other with the housing"
So; if there's someone handy who may be interested let me know asap.
I'm going to go in another direction.
Thanks
