I have not. Tonight the plan is to go out into the garage and try not to freeze my ***** off while I do some more porting. Once more porting is done and I get it back on the car we will see if I can get boost to stop creeping as much. Braineack just says I need to up my overboost cut to 215kpa and live with the power.

If the porting doesn't generate enough heat to warm your garage, then you aren't porting enough!

I am not. I will probably offer it as an additional service if you want me to do it. The process is not hard at all, it is just a good bit time consuming to do. A single carbide bit, die grinder, and time is all you need to port the waste gate.
This This
is the carbide bit set I bought. I think I have tried out 2 or 3 of them and they have all worked about the same. If you bought a single cone shaped carbide bit you should be more then good enough to port a waste gate.

Link to the dremel bits you bought off eBay? I want to grab a few to give those a try.

Once I get a few out I will move discussion to a new thread. This thread will be cleaned up and changed a bit and will be similar to Braineacks MS thread for regular sales.

Considering my business is selling carbide tooling it's almost scary to see some of the prices; dremel carbide bits | eBay

I am taking a break to eat some dinner and warm up. Then I will probably go out and keep going at it. This is what it needs to get to.

Yes that would be nice. The local machinist that I use just sold his shop. He let it go for an insanely good price. Had I known about him wanting to sell it I might have tried to buy it myself. So now I don't even have a machinist with a bridgeport.

Thia is where I stopped at. Braineack said it was pretty good so I will give it a try. Everything is back together on the car. I will go out tomorrow and see how it goes. I will try to get some pulls to redline.

Oh also BTW when I say they work AWESOME. I mean they work awesome for being on a dremel. It will still take some time to port as they are not that big but still get the job done.

Thanks. I spent about 1.5 hours last night working on the porting job. One of the big reasons it takes a while is my compressor is only so big and can't keep up with the die grinder. So it is a lot of hit it for a minute or two then wait for the compressor to fill back up.
