NB MP62 Supercharger Setup, TDR Intercooler, Etc.
Moving this to a separate thread, as I figured it was better for me to have this as separate from my engine.
Due to changes in the plans for my Miata, up for sale is a very well sorted MP62 Supercharger kit for NB Miatas. Originally put together by Williams805, I purchased it late last year, but haven’t had the chance of putting it onto my Miata due to other projects taking up my time.
The kit has been upgraded to support much larger boost than stock, and is about as good as you can get with an MP62 supercharger.
The list of kit modifications and adding are as follows:
- Track Dog Racing Intercooler
- Recirculating Valve
- Cobalt 4-2-1 Header
- BRP Supercharger Bracket with CNC Spacer
- Dual throttle body mod and cable (eliminates idle droop)
- Ported/Smoothed Throttle adapter plate
- Oversized air filter and intake tubing to eliminate air restrictions at higher PSI
- Multiple Pulley sizes (6 rib) for different PSI options, that sit forward to allow the retention of power steering and AC.
Other items I’m sure I’m forgetting I’ll try to add to the list later.
In addition to the Supercharger, I’m also selling my MS3-PRO PNP (MS3 Pro Module on WestfieldMX5’s PNP board for 99-00, including the hardware alternator control circuit and bluetooth module) and an OEM ECU housing to install it into. This set-up is capable of running table-blended flex fuel, which would really open the door to power on this setup.
All you’d need besides what’s listed here is an upgraded fuel pump, some big injectors (I.e. ID1000s), and a Miata in need of boost.
Looking for $3350 for everything.
