Default NEW GT2870 ChinaCharger turbo with K&N filter and extras

I got this turbo in 5/2010 and was going to use it to replace my worn out Garrett. Eventually I decided to just have the Garrett rebuilt and now that the car is running I have no need for this one.

It was listed on eBay as a "GT28 GT2870 Turbo Charger internal wastegate .64 A/R".

As soon as I got it I removed the internal wastegate and had the flapper door welded shut. So this would only be acceptable for an external wastgate setup. I also tapped the compressor inlet for the wastegate signal source and clocked it to fit my setup (which this orientation should work for most setups).

This will come with the K&N filter you see pictured, as well as the oil/water lines and fittings. Depending on your specific setup these fittings/lines may or may not work, but seeing that I got these for use with this turbo they go with it. There's also the pack of studs/gaskets that came with the turbo that are included as well, although I'd recommend spending the $6 at Fastenal to get upgraded SS ones.

I offer NO WARRENTY on this turbo. I bought it willing to take a chance that it will work, but knew in advance that dealing with these chinachargers is a hit or miss type deal. It has never been run and is still just as new as it was when I bought it. The wheels spin freely with zero effort and its in overall excellent condition. I had it bolted up to the manifold once or twice to check the fitment, other than that its been sitting on the shelf waiting to go in.

I'm asking $400 shipped for everything. PM me for PayPal details if interested.

Last try before it goes on eBay.

I'm sure it'll have a easier time selling there, but I want to give you guys first dibs. I'll wait until Monday before I list it.

I was wrong. It fell amongst the sea of eBay turbo bullshit.

So......I'll go for $350 shipped. I mean, the turbo alone was $300, all the lines/fittings were just under $100 and the filter was like $35. Not to mention its pretty much bolt on ready for an external WG setup.

I can ship this stuff the next day, insured and packed like ****.

If anyone's interested let me know. I'd really like to sell miata related parts to justify the little bit of money I need to spend for an alignment and the exhaust fix.

The GF and I are moving at the end of the month and I'd rather not lug this to the new place with us.

$300 shipped. If you can PayPal by the end of the day I can ship it out tomorrow.

About 20-25mins from where I am now up in New Milford. 30 acre property and we have like 4-5 to ourselves. Nice and private but pretty far from everything that's here in Danbury.

It'll be nice going to a bigger place with central air, dishwasher, washer/dryer, big kitchen, etc etc. We've been looking for months now and just came upon this one last week. We sign the lease this weekend.

Yeah I'm thinking I may have to take advantage of this place and have a BBQ of some sorts.
