Controls fuelling using 5th injector (included, with injector boss) based on boost. Standard base map included, but can be upgraded with tuning module to control:
- closed loop boost control (16 zones)
- programmable auxillary fuel control (96 zones)
- RPM switching (VICS control)
- ignition retard (96 zone)

Compatible with SerialLink with ComLink software for datalogging and recording the map.

Perfect working condition. Taken off my AVO turbo setup to replace with TEC3 at ~14000 mi.

$150 obo

Why is this so cheap? What are its limitations?

It is a piggyback , you need a keypad to control it.
Works on 89-05 models.
Controls timing, boost and fuel...

Nice unit...You can add more injectors like throwing in 4 1.6 extra injectors att each runner...

The ones they use on LINK ecu's (flying miata) Cannot use a laptop on the piggybacks...
http://www.linkecu.com/products/Tuni...s/tuningmodule
If you need 2 buy them seperatly they go for 250 dollar...
2nd hand 100dollar is a nice price...

(you can ask FM is they have a used one...)
Normally they are installed on 99+, but they are easy to connect to a pre 99..
You need to cut 2 wires (timing control, 2bobines) and add fuel wires, boost control wires. + and - wires( + wire must have power during starting!!!)

No check engine lights as the oem ecu remains...
