i think he is saying he is a now a vendor. But i could be wrong.
Mx5tunnerchalenge on m.net is running one of these but he is in the middle of going MS. I forget the power he made before but he is looking to hit low 13's with it.

I'd guess he's become a dealer. Probably figured he'd sell a couple kits here, let him buy his kit wholesale. Soot, you'd be more likely to move a few if you had installed your kit 1st and could provide dyno #'s and info to back it up.

Hey. I have a few questions I was wondering if you could answer about the kit.

Is this kit is complete and ready to install on the car? I have an 01, so just wondering about the fuel control for the car.

Is the turbo ball bearing or not? What turbo number is it?

Can you get the extreme kit, and if so, how much does it cost?

Thanks.

$2250 for extreme kit. i personally don't think its worth that much. i would rather suggest getting basic kit and using it as starting point.
so far i could not squeeze any particular info on turbo model. i believe it is gt2554r which should be ball bearing if i recall correctly.

kit comes ready to bolt on. i will document my installation with pictures and notes.

personally, im going for basic kit, using megasquirt for fuel/timing management, and adding my own intercooler + water injection.

in my projections i should be in 220-240whp safely with this setup but only time will tell

so far everything looks good and manifolds are cast iron made by them. turbos are real garrett t25 (checked with garrett to make sure) and can be upgraded to t25/t28 upon request.

for their fuel management, i will check out their "black box" to see how well it performs. apparently it works somewhat similar to voodoo box.

Thanks for more info Urban. The superior does sound better since it is small and have a garrett turbo and such.

Another question, you are a vendor for them now and have a kit to install on your car as well? If so, do you have an NA or NB?

Thanks.

they are the same as i understand. seems like they made it for NB and i will rig it up to make it work on NA. i dont think i should have any problems since positions of engine is very similar and im going to make custom down pipe anyways (later, not right now)

The only things that keep the NA hardware from fitting on an NB and vise-versa is the EGR (which this kit doesn't have), and the downpipe (how it mates to the stock exhaust).

It should be fairly easy to make any kit for 1.8Ls fit on any year car.... the fuel/timing control is the difficult part.

i have custom exhaust already and i bet that you can mate any dp to any exhaust at any exhaust shop for around $30
also im going to remove egr anyways (its pretty much useless). once i get my hands on this kit i will play with it and see how good it is. in perfect scenario i will take their manifold, turbo, crossover, and lines, add my own fuel/timing control, my own downpipe and re-brand whole thing. i bet this thing can take a lot of abuse and is not any worse then FM kits. will see how good their down pipe is and if its good then ill leave it, if its bad then ill get my guys to make me a prototype which i will later mass-produce.

How much for JUST the manifold, turbo, downpipe, and oil/water fittings/lines?. If they are willing to sell of course.

Keep us updated on how yours goes. I am debating about this kit and if you say it is decent I might go with it over a diy/begi setup.

So you need to move 10 units to get into this **** for real then the deal is gonna be steady right? sounds feasable.
