I have driven his car and can vouch for him without any hesitation. He has owned 3 M3's and used to be the service manager for the local Ferrari/Maserati/Lotus dealership. He is great with cars and very honest. He now has 2 kids, so the toys have to go and he might be picking up a 97 or 98 4-door M3.
