Default Harddog Fabrication Low profile Hard top side latches

I got these last weekend as part of a package deal. Turns out I don't need them as the OEM latches work with my sport bar.

If you have a Hard Core bar, these are what you need.

This is a stolen pic, the set I have are slightly different on one side to allow for even more clearance. I'll get actual pics tonight when I can find the camera.

Bethania gets $150 plus shipping. I'll set these on your doorstep for $125.

is the "slightly different" one using a piece of angle iron? if so, that'd be my mod and it is totally reversible.

Or if you have two racing seats bolted to the floor, making the standard side latches a bitch/impossible to use. Hard to justify $125, though. Good luck with the sale.

the difference is that the bar sits in front of where the side latches would be.

GOD DAMNIT TO HELL.

Had a chance to buy a Hard Dog Single diagonal for 300 bucks and didnt because I wasnt sure if it would fit with the blasted hard top. Even Tom at Bethania told me it wouldnt fit.

Wow.... You know, you would think they would be specific about this on their web site. I always ***-umed that it would not CLEAR the hard top, and was not just a latch issue. Looks like it even clears with padding.

Glad I read this before I bought a bar. Thanks y8s

For others that are confused, or not sure what to do about side latches. you can also get the solid hardtop mounts from safe racer. a more permanent fixture, but far easier to remove even than trying to open the latch with the roll bar in the way.
