Default PRICE DROP - ZX-Tex's Megahellastylin' Part Out Phase 2

Next items in the part out (more parts here)

I have had a few people ask why I am selling this stuff. I am parting out the car since I need a daily driver with a back seat due to family needs. I built this car planning on keeping it for a long time as a DD and am only selling it off reluctantly. The whole car is going, including the roller.

BUILT MOTOR
A less than 2000 miles fully built 1.8L motor with a 1999 head. List of engine parts:
Flying Miata Wiseco forged aluminum pistons 9:1 CR
Belfab Pro H-beam forged 4340 chromoly steel connecting rods with ARP bolts
Supertech 1mm oversized valves, stainless, black nitride coating, undercut (better flow)
Supertech titanium keepers
Supertech valve springs (single spring)
All new Felpro seals and gaskets throughout motor
Engine is fully balanced. Rods, pistons, and crank. It runs very smoothly.
New oil pump assembly with Boundary Engineering billet oil pump gears
New water pump
New bearings throughout
ARP crankshaft main bearing cap studs
ARP cylinder head studs
New cam position sensor
New crank position sensor
New Gates timing belt
New timing belt tensioner pulley
New Mazda Competition motor mounts
Leakdown test on all four cylinders is great, all well below 5%, and evenly matched.
The longblock was machined, balanced, and assembled by Duffin Engine in San Antonio, well known as an outstanding machine shop. Duffin is who most automotive shops in SA use for their machining work.
This is a very solid motor capable of very high power levels.
Engine includes valve cover, crank pulley, plugged CAS port, water pump pulley, oil pan tapped for turbo oil return line and an oil temp sensor (included). No intake or exhaust manifold.
The engine has a couple of special modifications:
1. Spacerless coolant reroute with rear thermostat. I will include the upper radiator hose and heater core inlet hose. The port on the front of the head is closed with a freeze plug. Very clean.

2. Double length oil cooler. This uses two stock oil cooler assemblies on a custom length center rod. It fits with no problems and uses the stock oil filter and coolant line feed and exit. Works great. Easily reverted to stock if need be.

Also includes a BEGI forward route water pump inlet tube. The stock rear exit inlet tube will not clear larger compressor wheels so this forward tube allows use of larger turbos like a Garrett GT2871.

Engine is $2350 plus shipping. Add up all of these parts and the machining (at least $4500 total) and you will see this is a great deal. This motor is in great shape. I am only selling it because I am parting out the car and will not be building another turbo Miata anytime soon. If sold locally I will meet the buyer in or near the San Antonio area for delivery. If it is shipped it will be via freight on a shipping pallet and should be about $125-$150 depending on your location.

A/C BELT TENSIONER BRACKET ***SOLD***

ACT XTSS CLUTCH ***SOLD***

I am a very reputable seller so buy with confidence. I will consider reasonable offers for everything above but keep your lowballs to yourself.

Do you have a basemap for MS you could include with the engine?

I have a base map for an adaptronic that could be copied over AT YOUR RISK. The main thing that could be useful is the timing map. The fuel map will be different unless you have the same exact injectors that I do. The MS fuel map is so easy to road tune with a wideband anyway so that it is not a big deal. The timing map was developed on a dyno.

You can really only PNP the map if everything is exactly the same as what I have. Different turbo, different intercooler, different exhaust, plugs, intake, whatever, is going to change things. The map is useful, but you still need to know what you are doing or get someone that does to tune it for you.

Lots of nibbles on the engine. Seriously if you are even just considering a built motor in your future this is a great deal.

Not that he needs any more cred but all of his parts/motor are first class. He doesn't hack, rig or BFH things.

The engine was built right and is a bargain at that price.

Thanks

The engine is now sold to an m.net guy with a supercharger. Hell it is even leaving the U.S. You guys should be ashamed for letting this one get out of the 'family'.
