TWM ITB's +Extras and BP4W race head
TWM Throttles need to find a new home. They have served me well, but my car is going in a different direction. I will take better pictures when I get them off the car later this week. It will come with everything necessary to use these. Just make the necessary changes in your ECU to alpha-N and go tune it. I suppose I could even send you some maps to get you close.
These are for a 99-01 head. And this is the version that did not come with individual vacuum ports on the runners.
-Will come exactly as it came from TWM with linkage, and the bracket I made for the factory linkage to fit. (originally $2500)
-Fuel rail, FPR, and all the extra push lock AN fuel fittings I had to buy.
- I will also Include the compleye injector harness because I did have to wire in new pigtails for these injectors (Bosch 25lb/hr).
-2" velocity stacks
-2" runner extensions (these where $160extra)
-ITG sausage filter and custom baseplate. (I think I paid around $3-400 for the whole setup)
-Pipercross Airbox coated in reflecta-Gold foil. custom baseplate also coated in gold foil. This has a removable pipercross filter that fits in the inlet. Really nice setup. I never saw higher than ambient IAT's with this. (I believe this setup was around
SOLD
THE HEAD: BP4W
Originally a $4000 built head from flyinmiata.
rebuilt with new valves, seals, and valve guides just a few hours old
shaved .020"
full port and polish
unshrouded combustion chambers
1mm OS valves
Supertech springs (dont remember which ones)
supertech retainers
supertech SUB lifters
injector holes filled and blended (so you can only use this head with ITBS or carbs)
Jesse Prather EP spec .500" lift long duration cams (I have cam info available) (these cams are $1400)
lifter bores are clearanced for the cams.
Jesses EP engines make over 200whp with these cams and they are limited to 12:1 and only .030" over, and stock size valves...
unfortunately I threw a rod while running this head and a piston just barely touched the combustion chamber on #3. I had it checked out by the machine shop and the head is still laser straight and no bent valves.
I would prefer to sell this all together unless someone buys the head first. I realize this will be a tough sell but hopefully I will find the right buyer that wants to build a monster!
If not I will take $2k for the ITB setup and all that come with it.
$4k will buy it all. I think that is a steal!

Those ITB's are pure sex. I'm really tempted to pick them up for the FrankenMiata; ITB's with a turbo are pretty retarded, but they're just so dope. You've had it posted for a whole, what, 18 hours; are you ready to give that **** away for a song?
(A song not in the key of 2000 that is...)

No doubt, $2k is a great deal for what you've got there, it's just that it would be a bit of unnecessary fluff in the context of my turbo build. It's dope, but I cant imagine they would do much more than tighten up the tip-in a bit; once the turbo gets to blowin' it's just moot. So, if it was an even better, nay, *crazy* deal on them I'd do it just for the Different. Let me think about it for more than the five minutes I have already and I'll let you know.
