Why does this diff have big opening in the side gears instead of the small ones from the type 2 Torsen ?

I've bought a similar diff last week and I'm wondering if it's normal to have these side gears on a T2 Torsen.

U looking to trade diffs or just sell? I gotta torsen 4.1. Recently checked by pro gear differential in San Diego. reason for trade is I’m lifted and need a higher ratio.
