And twice yesterday you said you would provide me with a tracking number, where is my tracking number ? I dont belive anything that comes from you. I don't recall anything about your power tools being damaged and your computer floating away in your flood. Honesty would go a long way for you at this point, hopefully we will all get our stuff back and you will be banned.

This was a timely post. I'd saved this fellow's website address because I was going to send him my valve covers. Well, that won't be happening.

I not only expect more from a website, but from grown adults such as everyone here. I expect a better moderated forum, along with the people on it. This is sick.
The original poster has been going through issues. Granted you should see your parts back, there's no reason to give him a bad name and reputation.
You're giving everyone on this website a one sided story, and I know the guy personally, actually he is a best friend.
Quit with the name calling, it makes you look just as bad the guy you accuse him to be. He has been working as hard and as much as he can to not only get your parts finished AMAZINGLY, but delivered to you in a reasonable amount of time.
If the had not have popped up you would have seen your valve covers a lot sooner. And still I am outraged about this situation. How could you call someone such a name and give the guy a reputation as if he is a thief? The world turns, things happen, and sometimes things unexpectedly pop up.
But for you to point fingers without calling him, and discussing matters with him is flat out childish. I have seen the valve covers and his work is amazing. He is a better person than to fraud someone of their valve covers. How stupid does this sound? That someone would STEAL valve covers?
F- on the moderation, website, and the folks who post and encourage this type of behavior from a member of this website.

Well first off your "best friend" **cough** butt buddy **cough** did nothing to try to contact these people after repeated attempts from the PO and others to contact him. Second things do happen yes but to continually lie to your "customers" and ignore them is f-ed up. Third I see nothing in the thread with good grounds for a slander case, your "friend" has a better chance of being sued for stealing the parts of the OP and others. Lastly you should have a few minutes to respond before your ultimate ban that is now most likely unavoidable.

I just want my part back it's holding me back from a project with my car!
maybe this thread was a little harsh, but i feel i've been dicked around. i was told by boostinboy that it would take about a week. yes i know things happen, but a month and half later i told him i didn't even care if it was polished, just to send it back to me. 3 month later i still have nothing, no tracking #, hardly a response or the feeling i'll actually see my part again. Part of the reason for a thread like this is to get a response, warn others, and hear about others dealings with him. He also pmed me about a day after i started this thread, i told him that if i got my part i'd retract my statements and let everyone know i got my stuff back.
and as far as taking me to court that's about the dumbest thing i've ever heard, good luck with that
oh and the mods on this board do an excellent job, you just have to realize this isn't some kind of pansy forum where everyone watches barney and care bears

#2-It seems like this thread got your "buddy's" attention which was the point. From all the things said in the last three pages, your "buddy" is completely at fault and just seems to be a bitch about things.
