For those of us who are confused by your obvious mental and physical superiority, could you please put together a quick chart comparing the features of your currently available ECUs?

Example: Megasquirt Product Comparison but actually readable.

MS Labs Enhanced MS2 -vs- MS Labs Basic MS3 -vs- MS Labs Enhanced MS3

...that can work out of the box for all 90-05 Miatas, yes. Includes the knock, RTC modules/functionality, alternator control, battery light control, CEL, etc.

Not really. The Enhanced MS3 will be a totally different beast.

I think I found my X-MAS gift to myself. So tell me Rev, what reasons keep me holding out for an MS3 Enhanced for my NB01 versus going with this beauty?

1) Cost. The Basic MS3 is CHEAP, the Enhanced MS3 will be more like $1200-$1500.
2) Availability. The Basic MS3 is here now, the Enhanced MS3 is still pending due to licensing.

Could you, theoretically, replace the expansion board with a regular MS3X board?
Just a question, since there's hardly a reason to do so.

The pinout is different, but if you rewire the top DB37 connector, yes, you could.

Rev,

Will your basic MS3 come with an optional wideband module like the enhanced MS3?

That's the only thing missing from your basic MS3 and is the only thing stopping it from being a must have for me.

No, that goes way beyond the scope of the Basic concept.

Darn you, Rev!

I'll probably order it anyways, assuming you build harnesses to the specific customer?

Excuse my MS noobness. I want to take a dive into the land of megasquirt.

What is the difference between ms3x, ms3 enhanced, and this basic ms3 being spoken of in this thread?

Where do I go to order this?

This unit is PNP into my miata? I'm assuming so due to talks of DB37 connectors...
