MSLabs MS3 - up and running in 15 minutes
I originally had MS1 and briefly used MS2E before getting my hands on a basic MS3 from Reverant.
I still have memories of going through a lot of the settings, ASE, WUE, etc on my MS1. After a good while, with the help of this community and tons of reading, I had a decent tune with MS1.
However, things are different with the MS3.
Within 15 minutes of mounting the MS3 and calibrating the TPS and checking timing(map line and wideband already in place), I was doing VEAL and only VEAL. I did not have to worry about AC, idle settings, stalling, high idle, etc. It actually let me focus on the actual veal tuning and took care of the the rest - equal to or better than stock!
I am now on day 2 of driving the car to work while letting TS tune the car and it just keeps on getting smoother and smoother.
Props to Reverant for his support, excellent base map and everything in between!

I hate to swing on the mans nuts, but after what I went through with my DIYPNP I was stupefied when my car started on the second crank with the MS3-Basic. I had one minor hiccup but Rev got me sorted me out with a quickness.
I would not hesitate to recommend the MS3-Basic from MSLabs to anyone. Seriously, don't even think about it. Just do it. It's exactly what you are looking for.

+1 to everything in this post.
I would love to swing on his big Grecian nuts if he gave me a chance. I had an MS2E from him, and I loved everything about it. Car started and ran fantastic.
I had a couple questions with it and emailed him, and he answered them and sent me files and support even though i hadn't given him a bent penny yet.
I JUST sold the MS2E and bought a rev built MS3 basic, and I told him straight up that it was in large part because he gave me so much help, I wanted to show my support with my wallet as well as my thanks.

I also highly recommend this book:
Kelsey got it for me as a birthday gift last year, and it was absolutely a huge part of why I was successful in turboing my Miata.
