Default TPS calibration problem

I'm trying to calibrate the TPS on a customer's 97 Miata with a MSPNP. It currently reads about 10% at idle and 70% at WOT. I have gone through the TPS calibration box, retrieved values for 0 and 100% throttle, and hit OK. However, it doesn't change anything. The software still shows 10-70 instead of 0-100. I have tried saving a copy of the file, cycling the power, re-sending the ECU file, etc. I've tried calibrating it with more than one file, multiple times. Am I missing something?

Thanks,

Andris

Have you tried adjusting the sensor itself? That's what I ended up fixing mine.

Yes, but that would make one of the extremes even worse. The ADC numbers for lo/hi are about 26/182 or something like that, and they move smoothly from one end to the other. The problem seems to be that the MS isn't actually storing/changing the TPS calibration when I set it.

It sounds like you have, but make sure you close MT and reopen after calibration.
