I agree... it will depend on how much stuff there's in the tank. It might only be the fuel filter...

OK, after getting the injectors back in there, changing the fuel filter, washing the fuel tank to remove rust sand, the car starts good. On the first try, it started. Idle is a little high at 1400rpm, I dont mind for now, it permitted me to bleed the cooling system and power steering fluid.

It kept idling for a good 30 minutes without major hiccups, afr is around 14.7 warm idle was 10.5 cold idle.

I decided to check the timing (was way off but adjusted on the cam sensor until the car gets to a professional tuner). Decided to check the engine constants but cannot find out which file was used to get the car started, Kaboshe came to help me on that but cannot remember what he did. The computer tells me that I cannot communicate with the controller...

An hour later, the car just wont start, the light in the megasquirt is not lighting anymore, the ignitor is getting really hot when trying to start the car and stay hot for a good 2-3 minutes, spark only on left coil...

I'm really bummed on my project right now, its been 6 months im spending time and every penny to get the car ready for spring and now I feel like I've taken two steps back instead of one step forward...

The most bizarre thing is when I put the key at ''on'', no more light in the mspnp but as soon as I turn the key back to accessories, between the two key positions, the light is getting back on for a fraction of a second...

Pros, help me please.

Tonight, I checked the gas quantity, it is good.
I changed the coil assembly, it still does spark on only two sparkplugs, the left coil...
I checked the ignitor and removed the top plastic part, it is not burned

The weird thing is when I opened the white box, the middle light is not lit, the top most is lighting very lightly and the bottom one is the brighest

When I move the key from on to accessories, for a very short period when I move the key, the three lights come on very brightly...

help...

ok, looks like the ignitor is burned...it melted after trying to start the car, mspnp is fine.
I will do a COP swap to remedy the situation

thanks.
