Default Fan output not working anymore

This is a DIYautotune MS2 wherein the fan output (output 1 set to >190 coolant) does not work anymore. It work for two week before today and all of a sudden it does not turn on the fan anymore. I checked the motor with a direct 12v cable and the fan motor is not the problem. Any suggestions? Thanks

Can you enable Port Status in the project properties, then make a data log of when the fan should come up? Then post the log and your MSQ.

I went ahead and took a log. I changed the settings in the temp threshold to see if anything happened. All I saw is the On/Off out put goes to 4.0 then 0. I also measured the voltage on the positive cable at the fan while it was supposed to be running and it read very low 0.5 mv or so. Attached is the log

I would also like to check the MSQ file.

Ok, looks like the ECU "thinks" it's turning the fan on. Can you check if the fan output is pulled to ground when this happens? If not, the issue is on the MicroSquirt Module; please contact us directly at websales@diyautotune.com if you would like to set up a repair.

Use a volt meter. You should have 12 volts with the output off and 0 with it on.

To be more exact is where do I measure this? at the ECU or at the fuse?

At the ECU output pin. No 12V when off - something's wrong with the wiring. No 0V when on - something's wrong with the ECU.

Subbed for same problem. But TFA-GND does kick mine on. Didn't OP say that the fan works when given another 12v source?

Alright so a little update. I got the car running again and magically the issue went away. Could it be the MS since I tried the jumper on the diagnostic and nothing then it work after when MS did run the fan output?

Also Im trying to run the Boost output to my EBC and every time I turn output on I get an error and TS goes crazy, the fan shuts down, etc... Then I turn the Boost output off and everything returns to normal.

Aaaaand it's gone again. Now the car loops like crazy even with the idle valve disconnected and the screw at the TB on the lowest setting the car wont come down from 1200 at the lowest. During warm up it loops from ~2k to ~3k and slowly decreases once it warms up. I have no clue what's happening :'((

Thanks Idk what I was thinking...

I thought of making a new thread but rather just keep it here instead. I am having issues with idle, during warm up the rpm oscillates and sometimes goes to about 3k rpm with open loop setting regardless of any input to PWM. During close loop it starts normal then gradually increases and settles at 2k rpm till about 160* F then settles to a normal idle

This is a log I took with the open loop settings and you can see the oscillations. At that time I remember decreasing the WUE and the saw the rpm drops but remains unsteady.

Second I enabled closed loop setting to see what it would do and it does not reach 3k rpm but remains at 2k rpm till about 160*F then settles at ~900-1000 rpm
