Default buying the mspnp with questions

hey i am about to turbo my 95 1.8 with a begi kit, rx7 injectors, ordering a mspnp with it. What i would like to know is when mspnp is hooked up and you start the car is there a basic setting that it starts on that will be drivable on, to a dyno, or untill i can tune it?

but you do have to change some settings for your car.

injector size - it comes with a map for stock injectors
timing - car specific
tps calibration - car specific
some idle control settings etc - car specific
overrun settings - car specific

+1 to what Paul said.

Don't think of tuning as something handled only by the pros, though, not when Megatune and MLV are so relatively easy to use. You can do most of the fuel tuning using MLV and VE Analyzer (search for those!! They WILL come in handy) and be that much better prepared when you show up to the dyno. Think of tuning as a process culminating in a dyno session. It also helps to have your cranking tables and whatnot squared away beforehand. Try to be in your final configuration when you go to get dyno tuned also. (for example - if you tuned without an intercooler and then added one, you could be leaving power on the table)
