Yeah I loved that thing, cop magnet haha. I got pulled one time for my tint, exhaust, speeding by 7mph, changing lanes with no turn signal, Illegal exhaust modifacation, illegal suspension modification, and no license plate in the front.. 
. luckily I got off with just a warning because I don't have any tickets =)

I'm happy you're handling the situation maturely and not just throwing on all your parts "to see what happens next"...
PS:
I saw a black SRT-4 today as I was stopped at a red light by a high school. Kid stops at a red light, revs the ****, takes off and redlines in first, chirps way through second, shifts to third...AND WOOP WOOP fairfax county's finest comes out from the side street...I was laughing soooo hard!

Nope, I am from virginia beach, VA. Cops are dick heads around here. We aren't legally allowed to modify anything in the state of VA. If it ain't stock, its ILLEGAL! bullshit huh?

Everytime i drove into VA from TN there was a flock of Bristol VA cops waiting to pull me over... tinted tail lights, exhaust, lip. It is a bunch of bull ****. I don't know if all mods are illegal. But the way the law is worded is that any vehicle operated on the communist wealth highway with an exhaust louder than factory is illegal. Well that is a brief synopsis of it anyways. So **** VA, TN FTW.

whats up with all the dick heads on this forum? I'm just trying to get some tips on what I should do here. And who cares about proper grammar on a stupid car forum? I mean its ridiculous, i'm not here to learn how to use correct grammar, I really don't care what my grammar is like on this forum and I really don't need a bunch of people criticizing everything I am saying here. If your looking to correct some grammar, go be a high school teacher, and if you don't have any suggestions for me, then just post something on a different thread.

Warning level 6 dude? You my friend are gonna get banned, Sit back and chill with what your saying on here. I am still a noob on here however, I have done a lot of reading and researching and purchased everything I need. I hope to be boosted and running strong by mid November. This is what i went with: for ($500 I got a 16g turbo, Manifold, Downpipe, AFPR and some 305cc injectors). ($600 for a braineack built MS), ($200 for 2 FMIC with piping and turbo xs BOV, HKS turbo timer, and a 255 Walbro fuel pump) and lastly ($400 on a Wideband, Boost Gauge, dual gauge pod, New plugs and wires, and some oil/block fittings) So all together it was around $1700
