I was running a stock clutch in the Machine with a 30% stronger PP at 300hp until I grenaded the oil pump gears. Then when changing the engine I decided to change the clutch. Never had and problems with slipping.

maybe you should read your thread because the group buy will not happen because FM said you're too retarded to do business with.

Yeah the clutch is stock. I just cant make a decision. its too many options. I would just get the ebay special for 150 but i dont want to make a mistake. And i figured because my clutch is slipping its probably burning the flywheel so i will need to get it resurfaced, but that will take a few days to do. So i think i will get a 1.8l flywheel and have it shaved a little. This way i will not have a turn around time and will be able to get all this done in a day or so. If anyone has a used 1.8l flywheel let me know i will take it off your hands asap.

So what exactly do people mean by "mechanical empathy"?
No dropping the clutch? Rev matching during daily driving?
Seriously, what exactly does one have to to do in order to be "gentle" with the drivetrain?

This question could have been raised in the B.S. section with a quote of the original post and possibly answered legitimately without much animosity. But instead you chose to ressurect a long dead thread...

I fear for you.

I've had my stock clutch on my Begi S1 10psi set up too with no issues for a year. I've been using "mechanical empathy" though.

This year I'll be getting the FM level 1 though.

I have a stockish disk with a stronger pp and it holds fairly well with the boost I am running. I tried to turn it up and it started slipping. You're on the right track. Just get whatever clutch you feel safe with (I ran an ebay special clutch and it was great before I nuked my trans).
