Default cut wastegate actuator rod

Hi all
i cut the wastegate actuator rod about 1/4- 1/2 inch and had it rewelded.
now i have achieved 15 psi or more and i can adjust to less perssure via turning the small rod.
The thing is that i want 12 psi but the rod goes to 10 psi at 4k rpm then it goes up (approx 14psi) at redline. this its fine with me. the boost doesnt go down at all.
Just a tip if anyone wants to do the same instead of adding a boostcontroller or helper spring.

with my car I set up a helper spring on a threaded rod, I found that spring to be the best, smoothest boost control I ever had.
