To the op: Depending on the year of your car, you may want to look into a msm turbo setup, I've seen a few go for around the $400 range with full fmic and piping included. It would be a great turbo kit to start out with. You would still need to take care of fuel management after, so the cost of the whole "kit" would be a bit over $400, especially if you go the ms route(which I would highly recommend).

If you have a 1.6 you may just be able to locate a used greddy kit in that pricerange.

If you look closely, it turns out that the "lafe" is an I embedded in what appears to be the all-seeing eye pyramid, a Masonic/Illuminati symbol.
