Default Cutting out at about 4 grand

Just got the greddy on monday as most of you know by now, i've finally got the ***** to take it to WOT all the way to 4000, i've topped out at about 4.5 almost 5 PSI so far.....BUT when i am at WOT right before i het 4K if i'm at 4.5 5 lbs. the car cuts out for a second, not long enough to stall or drop the RPM's too far but it just get's REALLY quiet for about a half second before it kicks back in!!!! any suggestions? i'm curious whether or not this is gonna turn into a major problem when i take it to 6500 or so.

by 4.5 k rpm you will be maxxing the pumps capabilitys i would check the pressure and probably replace the pump if they are low, it might not like beign worked so hard after so many years of use/abuse/enjoyment. i like the walboro 190 hp.

For Walbro pumps, I'd go to a Subaru or Mitsu forum and check the vendors there. Miata specific vendors tend to be WAY overpriced on the pumps, but I've found the install kits for $20 Canadian + shipping which comes out to about $18 + shipping USD.

Figured out my problem.....

Fuel pressure riser (the vortech) was hooked up backwards (i never touched it it was one of the guys that helped me with the install's idea to do alone.....but it should be fine now.

just double check when you're done with your install that the outlet is in the center!

thanks though for the tips
