I thought water only increased oil longevity?

Or try to find a used GT2560. That would be great for your goals and you may be able to find one for a few hundred bucks.

What about the recent thread discussing the old borg warner S252 and S256 turbos? They sound like good turbos, when you can ffind a used one they seem pretty cheap.

Since thread is about chinacharger recomendations I'd say 2871 from godspeed.Though I love my godspeed 3076. If I had to do it all over I'd STILL pick this turbo over anything smaller. Its so smooth, and IMO not laggy at all.

I have the 2854 from bell and it is too small. I spike to 15-16 and it tapers off to about 13 by redline. But.... I have had the turbo on my car for over a year, and dd'ed it for about 15k. So no fear. I assume their 2871 comes from the guys that they got their 2854 from.

I checked out the T28 from Godspeed and i also found the exact turbo on another site for $320 also a godspeed product. Where did everyone get theirs from? Direct from godspeed or another vendor?

Hey take a look at this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GT28-...Q5fAccessories

Does that turbo look similar to yours dustinb? Maybe the vets can chime in if it would be any good. I do like that it is oil and water cooled although that isn't really a deal breaker either way...

If you need a FMIC they have super cheap ones sized right for our cars as well.

I know this Chinacharger and intercooler information is already on this forum, but I'll post this to help the OP...

Thanks. I didn't notice the casting difference at first glance. Go with the Godspeed as it has been proven.

Who else is running one besides you Dustin ? What was your previous set up and numbers. Did you port the godspeed turbo before install ? Was the flange flat and do they come with oil restriction?

I may have a bum GT2560, so if that is correct, I'll just run one of these while I decide to sell or fix my Garret. Isn't a new Garret CHRA nearly $500 !!

263HP, 241 Torque @ 14 psi

Looking at your dyno and specs can we speculate ?

What would be reasonable for a full 3", no CAT, magnaflow and VVT car give me with that? Maybe another 10-15hp and a bump the curve 100-300 rpm lower when it all starts to get fun ?
