Default Racingmazda.com Kits Anyone?

I noticed alot of talk regarding all kits besides the great quality kits from Racing Mazda AKA Turbo RIC at RacingMazda.com . . .

Are you specifically trolling for a ban, or was there meant to be an intelligent question in there somewhere?

Boy this feels like an ad for racingmazdas.com. Isn't that one of those southern shops that dicked people over for parts/money etc? Or was it someone else.

And holy crap the "minimonster" is ugly.

Ric's had some successes, but also way too much drama.

You'd think a place that does Miata turbo kits would have come in and introduced themselves. By not doing it tells me there is some history they don't want to deal with.

2 mazdas may not be a shill! But not responding to the warnings is just plain dumb. Deserved to take a break. Look around a little before you start posting.

If you want to ask about a particular vendor out there, then ask about them. If you want to shill for them, ask the mod's first or post up what you have, documentation and pics showing the build, pics of the parts you got, dyno charts, etc. to give us a reason to want to check out your supplier. Don't just send people to their website with a 1 sentence post. There are supporting vendors here. Popping off about other vendors in your 1st 4 posts ain't cool jack.

Personally, I don't really care who advertises what around here. We mods don't get any financial remuneration from the sponsors, and I doubt Rick will be changing that anytime soon, seeing as how it's his server and the ad money goes towards the bandwidth and storage that keeps this place running. People just need to keep it tasteful, on-topic, and in the right forum. We specifically permit small-time vendors to do free advertising in the "Group Buys & Member Discounts" section so long as whatever they're selling is relevant.

What I do mind is when folks come on and immediately create ten different posts, each of which is one sentence long, for the sole purpose of bumping their post count so they can then ***** the classifieds section. You can actually watch them, in realtime, creating one useless crap thread after another until they hit the limit, and then their very next post is always in the classifieds. And when someone ignores private warnings and keeps right on thread-crapping, it's a good sign that they need to sit in the corner for a little while.

I deleted all the rest of his **** and left this one (and his one sentence post in the Meet & Greet folder) as a warning to others.

Damn, this is good information to know. I hadn't really checked into them yet, but they were on the top of my list to build me a short block.

If RM was at the top of the list, who was on the bottom of the list?

Joe,

Great info all the way around! About the vendors and the warning to posters just hoping to sell crap. Thank you. We poor schlubs lurking around here trying to learn something appreciate it a great deal. We also appreciate the inside info on how the site works.

Thanks again!

It went RM (I have a couple of things on my car that he built and I think his work is pretty decent, plus the engine he built for Mike was pretty stout from what I remember), FlyinMiata (over priced for what I feel I would be getting), couple of local shops, myself (I just don't really feel like doing this myself).
