Default greddy at the track

Well went to a track day this weekend and let me tell you i could not be any more happy. I finished my heat shield and wrapped everything. The car ran great did not over heat. I had to sit in 5 hour traffic to get to the track......(people who cant drive in FL wreck everywere). I ragged on the car at the track and drove it home just fine and this car is my daily. I do know what i need to get now that i am back from the track so. Also I ran 10 psi there and at the track and on the way home.

I am putting the motor back into the car soon and i like to see ur mods. I am doing a motor swap with a 90 to a 93. My car had 149,xxxshort nose. and the 93 motor had 109,xxx long nose(180 leak down on all 4cyl.) For my upgrade, i am installing a oil cooler, drill out oil pan for return line. I am also adding gauges(EGT, oil press, oil temp, water temp.) when the motor is in, i plan on adding the greddy emange and boosting 12psi spike and 10psi constant.

If you know how to get the motor & turbo to be as reliable as you say it is, please do share.

Thnx!

Ok well let me explain the day to you. My friend and I left around 9 am to head to the track. Well as soon as we got on the interstate it was shut down. Long story short it took us about 4 hours to get there. As soon as i got there i put some octane booster in the gas(i always run 93 but just to be safe b4 a track event or auto x i put some in) Then went straight to tech so the car didnt turn off for about 4 and half hours(i live in fl and it was 91 out that day). Did my laps and then let the car sit and went back home about 2 our trip back.

Now the car didnt over heat at all. I use regular coolant and water weter(that stuff works) I was running 7/8psi on a short nose with 150k. This weekend is the auto cross so I am sure the car will due great.

Mods are greddy turbo kit
FMI
Begi regulator
walboro fuel pump
and some other things but let me tell you the car was great and i couldnt ask for anything better.

road course or drag strip? Traffic is surely harder to cope with than either- even if it's spring, you are in FLA. any video?
