Already have colder plugs, new fuel filter, upgraded hardware, oil feed/return lines, and a one way check valve for the charcoal cannister im my possession. I will be installing the base kit tomorrow and a walbro 190lph hp as soon as it arrives on ups on Friday.

I have a starion intercooler sitting in my room for an over the top set-up (just need $$$ for couplers & clamps), and I want to be the first miata running ANTI-LAG activated by a switch with a megasquirt (stay tuned...prolly in the next 3-4 months). I am probably going to re re-building my turbo every 3months Other than that...I am going to be using the proven upgrade path to power that most of the members on this forum have beaten into my skull

Congratulations!

I only got to drive my 6psi a couple of weeks before snow and I am completely jonesen to take it out again. Let alone tune it with the new MS. I am curious to see your "top mount".

Pretty good explaination...basically max decel enrichment along with retarding timing by a huge amount on decel. This will send unburnt fuel to the hot manifold/turbo, and cause explosions to keep the turbo spinning.

Horrible for your turbo/manifold...but great for your favorite mountain road

If you haven't already, motor mounts are probably a good suggestion. The drivers side is a 10 minute job (providing you don't want to clean everything) with nothing in the way... and the passenger side isn't much harder. It took me about an hour for both, but only because I used scrubbed the whole side of the engine as well.

Don't forget to make the manifold cuts and TAKE IT REAL EASY for the first hundred miles... ease into the throttle just to make sure things are working right. Also, a FUEL PRESSURE GAUGE is an easy thing to engineer into your setup when installing the FPR... makes tuning that much easier.
