1. Do research before posting
2. Realize you're way too poor for your dreams
3. Buy MK Turbo

Not even Lars would suggest his setup for a 400whp+ build.

That's why #2 is before #3.

Nope, I sure as hell would not. I only suggest my setups if you are broke cheap and don't ever want to open your motor. If you can afford it or want a higher quality I have zero issues telling people to go TSE/FM/Artech and in fact I have pushed a good number of people to go those other routes as I think they would be a better fit for what they are trying to achieve.

As said i haven't looked into it.

Thinking LS swap would be a better go if trying to make over 450+whp

hey bro,
now I'm sad to have wasted keystrokes

Actually "heavy duty" is a common term in our country mate. And I wasn't referring to the transmission(my bad) i was referring to the clutch.

I was only looking to turbo at first, but recently my thoughts are bouncing around whether to go over 450whp or not. Which is way i'm going to wait till there is a complete kit, whilst researching here and there..

Just to give you an idea. To get above 350whp reliably expect to be in the 10-15k minimum on the build. Things get really expensive, really fast. At those prices you are now getting into the LS swap price range.

You weren't being criticized for the words "heavy duty", you were being criticized for not actually knowing what "heavy duty transmission" you would use, and not having a clue what sort of money and work would have to go into it.

Re: clutch - You're clutch might be fine, but that won't matter when you are shearing teeth off your 6 speed.

You will likely never find a complete (turbo) kit that is designed for 450 whp. Get a V8 kit if you've got the money.

And let's talk about drivabillity at that power level.

I'm going for a track oriented build, sounds like the GT2560 or EFR6758 is best option. And around 300WHP is suitable, and since there aren't people who have experience with the TSE, i'll leave it to that.. That way i can focus more suspension/exterior with the power to back it up. Thanks to those that gave me good advice!
And later on so if i feel there is need for more power and i've got the money, i'll consider LS Swap.

FM2 isn't "heavy duty" and won't hold 450+

I mean you can try to back-peddle and "clarify" all your n00bish ramblings, or you can just be honest and say: "guys, I was pretending to know what I'm talking about, but I don't, so let's start over: what do I really even want?"

Everyone is being exceptionally nice to you right now. Just FYI

Even at 300whp for a track build expect to be in the 10-15k range. Track reliability is not cheap at all. That price is also not touching suspension, braking, wheels/tires, or safety gear.

Knowing you want to track it I would probably wait until the TSE setup is released. Savington has done more track research and development for high hp miata's then almost anyone else. The whole reason our turbos are not stretching studs any more is because of him. People have tons of experience with TSE, it is just his turbo setup, and that is because it is not out yet. Out of any setup out there, I expect his to be the most reliable on track, as he spent probably 7-8 years figuring out how to do it properly.

That's true, i haven't worked on cars before like these big things, but i've got mates who do these things alot, so when i hear them talk that's where i get the idea of what parts i should use and i then research on them.. So i'm sort of trying to make sense of how to make the motor work on big power, I know the bit Putting on a turbo, get it tuned with supporting power mods and know there's way more to stuff like that. That's why i'm slowly researching and asking here for help. And i thought a stage 2 is considered heavy duty but it's not so thanks for pointing that out.
Sorry if this is annoying but i'm gonna putting big money so I want to learn and not noobish mistakes..

WOW! That is definitely a long time in research, i will surely wait till the full setup is released.

You should also drive some moderate power builds first before deciding you want to go ***** out on a build.
350HP in a miata will kill you quickly if you don't know what you're doing.
