Default Greddy and the track days, what to expect?

I'll be at the Redline Tiime Attack on April 28th and wondering about a few things:

1) I'm not going to have the time (nor budget) to fully install the kit with an IC, 1.8 injectors (needs to be cleaned), the O2 clamp (thanks olderguy), WBO2, and my BEGI AFPR by then. Are those items ABSOLUTELY necessary for me to have clean runs?

2.) What are some problems that are too be expected with running boost at a track day? (I'm already planning to bring a 1.8 rear end and axles, just in case)

I originally planned to installed various parts in stages, but it looks like I'll just be slapping on the stock greddy kit and calling it the day.

Thanks guys.

As long as you install the Vortech, reduce your timing to 6 BTDC, and don't tighten your wastegate more than just snug, you should be OK. Expect to loose some of the "kick" to heatsink as the day goes on.

I'd at least get that o2 clamp in. you got plenty of time for said mods.

just inspect it at every break. retarded timing plus minimal control over your tuning could mean high EGTs. keep the boost as low as possible if you want less to worry about.

I wouldn't worry about the rear/axles if you're running a relatively un-tuned setup like that.

-heat melting things (throw a heat shield blankey over your brake system)
-bolts and nuts in your exhaust coming lose (BRING SPARES! LOTS OF SPARES!)
-surprise oil/water line leaks
-ping from running lean
-high EGTs burning up valves from retarded timing/lean mixture

^Aquanet or Vida Sasson?

I forgot to mention I have the FM heat shield also. And if I'm able to get the dayam knock sensor on the block, the J&S is already wired.

What spark plugs (gap) should I run?

Thumbs up

Bring duct tape in case the rubber accordian part of the tube splits... actually, you may want to wrap it BEFORE as a preventative measure. It balloons out under boost.
