Default New upgrades to Greddy turbo *PICS*

So, for now I am done with the turbo/motor work. Almost exactly 1 year ago (3/5/08 according to my notes) I wrote down the plan and parts list for the end goal I wanted to achieve and bought a used greddy kit. And now it is all here and in the car. Some of the components I had originally planned on I later decided on something else; I first thought I'd be getting a EMB for fuel/timing and a bosch recirculating valve...

I am now at 10-11 psi. Sure I'll probably tweak here and there because I can't help it but I am now to the point where there's enough power that the clutchmaster 'stage 1' clutch will die soon and once the clutch can hold the power I'm sure the 6" ring gear will explode.. basically, the power/boost won't be going any higher for a while.

The big picture. No more AFM, no more Vortech FPR:

Coldside.

Catch can:

BEGI divorced gas upgraded downpipe for the Greddy:

460cc RX7 Injectors cleaned/flowed by InjectorRehab:

18x12x3 Intercooler:

The whole list as it sits:
Greddy Manifold
TDO4H-15G
BEGI Greddy divorced gasses downpipe
Megasquirt PNP stand-alone
RX7 460cc Injectors (cleaned/flowed by Injector Rehab)
2" aluminum hot side charge pipes
2.5" aluminum cold side charge pipes
Roadrace Engineering 3-ply Nitrile Rubber intake pipe couplers
18x12x3 CXRacing Intercooler
Greddy knockoff bov (VTA)
NGK BKR7E plugs
3" cat -> 3" resonator -> 3" turn down at rear axle

Thank you to all who helped me along the journey. When I sat down to start deciding on a turbo kit for the car, I actually had to research what a wastegate even did. I had no idea. Now I'm tuning the car with a laptop and have pieced an entire turbo kit together, cut up/welded the car to make things fit, etc.
Now this is fun.

your setup is very similar to mine what is you spool like? I think mine seems late for having the BEGI DP and 3" exhaust

how much power are you making? That is just about the same exact setup I am planning to do.

have not been to the dyno - I have not found one in mid-california that has a cheap rate for just a few pulls, no tuning. If anyone knows of one, let me know.

turbobluemiata - I can get 11 or 12 psi at 4200. When I was only doing 7 psi I was hitting that at like 3300. For comparison though, before I did the BEGI dp and 3" exhaust and had just the stock Greddy DP feeding a figh flow cat and 2.25" magnaflow exhaust I didn't get 6 psi until 4600, so from 6 psi at 4600 to 11 psi at 4200 is ok... the only thing holding my spool back now is the cat I have. Without it spool would be much better.

Looks good! Did you brace/reinforce the front shock towers?

Yes. Just a random project I did one day. Figured it couldn't hurt and could help. Might be a little thing but that and the front bracing and the seam welding etc. adds up to be a nice tight feel.

I'd like to see a hose clamped from your 90° intake pipe to the headlight scoop outlet.
