Default greddy wastegate settings?

ok well i believe the previous owner adjusted the wastegate from stock. what should it look like at stock????? i dont wanna be pushing my turbo too hard.

Set it so that there is just a slight pull from the actuator to the wastegate to keep it from rattling.

If you loosen it up too far, tugging slightly on the arm the waste gate will feel a little loose. Trust me, once you feel it, you'll know. Tighten until you don't feel that looseness...

Don't turn the rod, loosen the nut and turn only the part on the end. Turning the rod that goes into tha actuator can tear the diaphagm.

Yeah, verily. Don't turn the rod.

There used to be a good thread on this somewhere. As helpful as Miata folk are, I've always thought it might be a good idea to include more FAQs and how-tos here. The redundancy is tremendous, yet I can spend a half hour just trying to find such information.
