Default Ebay IHI turbos. Supposably new from Japan.

Well i'm back to step one and that's located a IHI RBF-5 Turbo for my Mazdaspeed setup. I seen those IHI turbos on ebay selling around 250, but I question how legitimate these turbochargers really are... Does anybody have any experience with them?

supposably is not even a word dude.

As far as the turbo goes, since IHI is stamped on it, it must be genuine or at least from an authorized manufacturer. No chinacharger I've seen has the original manufacturer's name stamped on it.

They are legit, several people on the MSM site bought them to do compressor wheel upgrades and the are real factory turbos.

definitely not word, and my feelings are that garrett and mitsubishi make the best platforms with tried and true reliability and clear upgrade path, ihi and holset may have good turbos but are generally unkown and have less part availability

The IHI he's looking at is the only one that works with his setup...his choices are limited to 1
