Default Boost Problem...

Ok so i fixed the problem with the breaking up (is just needed a better tune) anyways now i can't get it to go past 10.6psi i checked all the lines but no damage i noticed i had the two lines mixed up..the one that is supposed to go to the wastegate was going to the turbo and vice versa so i fixed that problem ran the car again and still won't go past the 10 psi, i also spaced out the wastegate from the turbo a little bit more by adding a washer to each bolt that way it tightens the spring a little bit more and still nothing...
last time i checked the boost controller was running fine cuz it hit 15.5 psi which was the result of my blown engine.haha
any suggestions

I'd say not to worry about it if you "need better tuning." If the tune isn't good enough for 10 PSI then why the hell would you want to boost higher? Get her tuned then figure the boost issues out, then re-tune.

I was under the impression that he just got it tuned and it fixed his original problem, maybe I misunderstood.

No, the problem is he is trying to destroy a freshly built motor and refuses to listen to the advice already given to him.

The advice was basically: don't use bandaids.

Try a "helper" spring to hold the wastegate closed.

+1 for helper spring. Then you can blow another motor easy.

Skip the helper spring, just run to a shop that can weld for you and have that wastegate welded shut, no problems with not making boost then.
