Tony and Ebay down pipe. See what one fits best and sell other.

The braided oil supply hose. Does it need a right angle off the block or can it come off straight?

The supply line should just come off the block straight, with the 90* at the oil inlet on the turbo.

Sorry, did not see that thread.

I was just looking @ the greddy inst and it shows a 90* on the block. That 90 would put the line on the block side of the oil dip stick and wit out it, it goes on the out side of the dip stick.

Question 2

Got a ETD Greedy replacement manifold and it had 10mm studs. The Greedy turbo had 8mm studs and a gasket under it for 8mm studs. What do I do. I tried drilling the gasket and it hard and came out very bad. I can imagine that I can drill the cast iron turbo housing to easily? What do I do?

Does anyone sell a gasket for the greedy size turbo with 10mm stud holes?

Should I drop turbo off at machine shop to get hole in turbo opened up to 10mm?

dont use a gasket. drill the turbo iron is easy enough..

or use m10 to m8 studs.

I used a dremel tool and a coarse grit sanding stone to enlarge the holes on my greddy turbo.

Wow,

I had my ETD mani for 8 months and never had a problem with the stock sized 8mm studs. The guys at ETD also said they ran their setups with no gaskets and had no leakage problems. I did install 10mm nuts on my stock manifold, though, and enlarging the holes on the turbo housing is not "exactly" easy. If it's possible to get the 10mm to 8mm studs, I'd do that.

This thing sux! These pipes are pissing me off! I know its prob a direct fit with there FM2 kit bit I don't have that! Its going on a greddy kit.

This is a FM2 intercooler kit.

Mounted the intercooler..no prob. But it looks like with the thicker radiator the coupling that sits between the fans and the crank pulley has 1/4" clearance, providing the motor never moves.

The second pic is of how it "adapts" to the greedy kit.

So do I try and rig this thing to work or:

1) Buy a new intercooler setup

2) Make the turbo yo intercooler piping from scratch.

3) rig it to work...for now.

1/4" should be ok. The engine shouldn't move forward/back in the car.

I'd do what is in your second picture, seems pretty easy.

I have an oil feed line for ya really cheap. It's 4an and perfect length. The block fitting was PITA $20 Earls piece from Summit.

Mike, have you been to Hampton Rubber? It's the best place in town for all your hose and braided line needs... plus they've got rows and rows of fittings, barbs, etc... Those guys hook me up big-time when I go in.

Sam, Feel like I live at Hampton rubber. Have you been to AMS on Indian River Rd? They got stuff!

Think I'm going to break down and order the stripes kit. Spoke to him today and he has one with my name on it. Seems after some searching, everybody likes his kits. So there will be a FM2 intercooler kit up for sale shortly.

1/4" clearance wouldn't bother me. especially front to back.

I had less:

and the engine could torque into it.
