I have tightened up the jubilee clips but it leaking is leaking more oil now? have I split the hose?

Also can the oil from this leak get into the bell housing and screw my new exedy racing clutch? There seems to be loads of oil on the underside of the car....!!!?????

I have changed the rear main engine seal, clutch seal when the new clutch was put in and done cam cover gasket and CAs 'O' ring but still have an oil leak coming somewhere...!!??

The rubber hose often gets brittle near the turbo. Try checking this side of the oil return hose for any cracks. Might want to check the oil return flange as well and make sure those bolts are tight.

bolts are tight...looks like it could have become brittle!

Is there a braided version available instead of the rubber hose that comes with the kit?

Or am I better off getting smaco high temp 19mm straight hose and joining it to a 19 mm 90 degree bend out of the turbo?

Did you have the stock hose still? Isn't that just heater hose?

High Temp silicone will last a lot longer and is an easy swap out. Unless you haven't tapped the pan ( extra 10 feet or hose ) it's an easy and inexpensive solution. Wrapping it with heat wrap will help out a bit as well.

I have ordered some sfs high temp hoses today in 19mm/3/4 inch.

I made some enquiries...the only ones I could find are with 'crushed fittings.

I would just swap the lines for high temp silicone ones and then get some high temp heat wrap and just wrap the line where it is close to heat sources - I've seen highly modified cars at far higher levels of boost and heat run this setup reliably - SS lines are used either to look cool, or because the user has the extra money and wants complete confidence and doesn't mind spending hte extra $ for it - they aren't necessary though.

I had to pull my turbo off to find out that they loosened off. I couldn't reach them when the turbo was on the manifold.

update:

I have replaced the hoses with high temp silicone hoses!

out of the turbo there is a 90 degree bend down, so I used a 19mm stainless steel elbow.

No leaks so far and no kinks. had to cable tie the hose away from the bodywork though.

It would be nice if some of you could post up pics of your retrun lines from the turbo!

Many different parts and shapes available. Will run about $2 for the little couplings needed at Home Depot. I used 2 ea 45' couplings to aim the return line directly where I wanted. Your configuration may look different depending on where the oil pan was tapped and other things such as AC and PS. there is even a little repair coupling with ridges at both ends that makes a fine place to clamp the hose to so it will not slide off. there are no sharp bends in the hoses and no danger of it rubbing on anything.
