Default Turbo Upgrades

I was looking at Gpopshop.com and I was looking at some of the conversions they did. So, naturally, I inquired about it and they said that they could upgrade the 15g compressor wheel to a 19t. Would that be a good upgrade?

Also, what are other turbos that fit on the greddy manifold.

Thanks

This is what he said

Hello John,

Thank you for your interest. We could do a high-performance rebuild for
you on this turbo. This would include installing a stepped gap piston ring
(instead of the standard piston ring), as well as the 360* thrust bearing.
Both of these parts add a great deal of durability and longevity to the
turbo. The price for this rebuild is $405 (as long as your compressor
wheel, bearing housing, and turbine shaft/wheel are in good shape and not
in need of repair). This would also include a full balance. If you are
looking for more flow out of the turbo, we would recommend going to a 19T
compressor wheel instead of the 15G. The price to do this would be an
additional $225. This would be the maximum size TD04 compressor wheel
there is and is rated at 325hp.

If you are interested in sending your turbo to us for this service, you
can send it to:

G-Pop Shop
22349 W War Eagle Rd
Springdale, AR 72764

We take credit/debit card payments, paypal, and postal money orders. The
turnaround time for this kind of job is currently 7-10 business days. Let
us know if you have any other questions. Thanks,

Would it be worth it for the upgrade for $225?

Sounds like that is a $600 upgrade. For that money I would spend a grand to get a new mani, DP, and turbo to replace the greddy ****.

19T not 16T

the wheels are very similar...what it will allow you to do is support 315BHP vs. 270BHP at 2PR if possible.
