Just got back from the SEMA show and don't know what the change is! But I will find out, and get back to you folks.

*EDIT* - They built a new jig for the Greddy Manifolds and made a batch using it. The manifolds did not fit 100% when made with the new jig and therefore a new batch had to be made with the old jig, and now a stronger new jig will be designed for future manifolds.

The manifold will look the same, just the jigs have a shelf live and eventually need to be re-done.

No,only once.

My other post towards him was to inform him that Bell already makes a far better kit than the Greddy at almost the same price.

Woohoo! The shop called today at 3pm. The manifold has arrived. I'm taking it down in the morning.

I have a question though.

11 years ago, I let a local speed shop borrow my then-hard-to-get carbon-fiber hood so they can use it on their race CRX. Well, they forgot to latch the hood on the trailer and it flew off and got damaged. When they finally located another hood, they bought it for me. As I was leaving the shop, I grabbed my old hood and they said something like, "No, that belongs to us because we bought you another one". I let it go because I didnt think anything of it, but who's right? Am I ENTITLED to the old product when a shop replaces it? Hopefully, someone that works in a similiar shop can clarify. Thanks.

you are not entitled to betterment. meaning you are entitled to have the car restored to it's original status/value. if you got the old hood too you are getting more than you had before the damage, a good hood and a hood that is damaged . before you only had a good hood.

Woohoot!! *ahem* sorry KP.

It took the shop less then an hour to remove the old manifold and replace it with the ETD one. They also installed a custom 2.5inch Roadstersport exhaust.

Me likey. Spools faster and earlier, but you guys already knew that would happen. Now it's time to get off my *** and install the intercooler, 1.8 injectors, and fuel pump so I can up the boost a tad.

Oh, and since they didn't OFFER me the old greddy manifold I didn't bother about it. I'm not sure what he is going to do with it, but if anybody wants it, I can you give you the shop's name and mechanic. I told people might be interesting in fixing it and re-using.
