So since the new motor has been installed I have been constantly trying to improve the tune with the voodoo box. It seems like it will tune one gear perfectly for a hard pull. any other gear is close, but not ideal. after about 2 weeks of turning the dials on my way to and from work, I now have every gear boosting at 12.1. (yeah I know thats a long time to get it right, the first time I tuned it I had it tuned in less than half an hour. This was with the first motor)

Now the only problem seems to be getting to redline with the A/F not going ape **** rich above 5000 RPM. If I lower the max fuel any lower it will go lean.
The only thing I can think of is that it has something to do with the ignition system not being strong enough to completely burn the air/fuel mixture.. it has new NGK plugs gapped down to about .0025 (too many zeros? I'm half asleep)
the plug wires aren't of the highest quality I beleive they are some "pep Boys" brand. Could that be part of the problem?

The more I read about the megasquirt the more I wonder why I dont have one... oh yeah I'm poor

oh and it has the tan top injectors, wastegate is set at 8PSI

you could try stock injectors and setting the max fuel higher

I thought the stock injectors would crap out above 6psi?
I'm really starting to hate the voodoo box, it is never constant it seems like the tune changes from day to day

it's probably why you'll never see anyone on this site recommend one.
