Looks great but I lost the TRACKSPEED branding along the long runner :(

It's probably too expensive, but for the next generation of the cast, consider adding it as raised lettering (if it is expensive, maybe just brand it with "TSE" - that would fit on the short front runner too and be more visible).
We explored that early on, but it's impossible to get the resolution required to cleanly render our logo in the casting itself. Machining would create stress risers all over that area, so that's out too. Laser looks clean, plenty of resolution, but yeah, you lose it if you coat the manifold.

What about this method with a plate?

Also Id love to know about coated manifolds, they have always come back with all flanges coated and Ive always installed with the coating still on. Belt sander removes the coating easily though.

You've had bad experiences?

Coating like that won't seal well IMO. Needs to be machined metal.

likely because it's not a flat surface anymore, but a bumpy/rough one with little pinholes and such to let the exhaust escape

coating will also break off and blow out like a gasket.

I don't think it's a "swaintec" type of coating. More like a ceramic hi temp powder coat from the looks of it. If it's like Cerakote V-171 it goes on at 1mil thickness. More for corrosion than insulation.

FWIW, I did my manifold and turbine housing and it's been on my car now for 1 yr and about 4K miles. No leaks. But it's not on the track either.

No offense, but this post belongs in a thread other than this one. This thread is for discussion of my EFR products, not ARTech's. A mod is going to move this post to my sponsor section, where I have a thread going that's specifically about the EFR stud kits.

First proto DP is due here by the end of the month. Production parts will follow by 3-4 weeks.

One note for NA owners: we will need to know whether you want to run a stock exhaust or a 3" exhaust. The 3" NA option won't bolt up to a factory cat (same flange position, but different fastener width), so you have to pick one or the other. I will contact you via email to gather that information later this week.

All our NB lowers will be 3", since those do bolt up to a factory exhaust.

Oil and water line kits are nearly finalized as well. I'm waiting for some production samples and then I'll release some photos and pricing. They will ship well before the downpipes do.

I've been following the progress, but now I finally have a reason to actually be excited:

Took my wife out for a drive this past weekend, and got stuck behind some traffic. Two-lane backroads, with some opposing traffic. I could see she was getting frustrated (almost more than I was), and every time there was a gap she'd ask why I wasn't passing. "Not enough power to make the pass before that oncoming car hits us" was my reply. By the end of the drive she was practically begging me to get some forced induction.

All that to say: in a little less than a year I'll be in the market for some form of forced induction kit. And because I want it to be dead-nuts reliable, that means either your EFR kit or some manner of Rotrex. I'm looking forward to your continued updates!

I'm a fan.

At first I didn't believe her, I must have asked "You're serious?" a dozen times on the way home. MS3Basic and FM1 Happy Meal are already on the way!
